RPI’s Vestibular Rehabilitation program assesses and addresses identification of nystagmus and semicircular canal involvement; as well as, how it affects balance and gait. In addition, a fall risk and somatosensory assessments are performed to ensure all aspects of balance are properly working. Emphasis on oculomotor examination results will be developed into an effective treatment plan for periodical dysfunction. Our clinicians at our Creve Coeur office treat BPPV (Benign Paraxysmal Positional Vertigo) affecting the semicircular canals with canalithiasis or cupololithiasis.
